Rugby Facts - Information about the exciting game of Rugby!

Rugby is the second largest team sport in the world (behind soccer), with unions in over 120 countries across all seven continents. The Rugby World Cup, which takes place every four years, will be here on United States soil in 2031. Our great game also has its place in the Olympic Games where, most recently, the USA men finished 5th and the women secured a memorable Bronze medal. In the USA, nearly all universities have a rugby club. Currently, there are 32 varsity programs that offer full scholarships while many others offer partial scholarships with additional opportunities to travel, play and study abroad

Did you know? Former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, John F. Kennedy and even Pope John Paul all played rugby.
